Team Epic Racing kicks off the 2012 Racing Season
Round one of the OMA Pro ATV Nationals kicked off in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Team Epic Racing
was poised to make their presence known as the first turn saw Moose Racing/Smith Optics/
Motion Pro supported Bryan Hulsey on the #2 bike off to a good 3rd place start and Bosch
Tools/Rekluse teammate John Pitts suffered a disappointing 7th place start . Both riders started
making a charge to the front, however by the end of lap two Vee Rubber/EBC Brakes sponsored
Bryan Hulsey was out with mechanical problems. John Pitts on his ODI Grips/JE Pistons backed
quad was still on the charge and worked his way to 3rd at the end of lap one. As the race wore
on Precision/Maier Mfg./Powermadd backed Pitts was struggling just a bit and by the end of
the day still managed to hold on to 5th place.

2011 OMA Pro ATV Nationals Champion
Team Epic Racings Bryan Hulsey hits
the Podium at round one of the MOC (Mid-West Off-road Championship) set
in Lincoln, Missouri.
As the Starter board dropped on the first round of the 2012 MOC Series, Team Epic Racing’s
UM Performance/Pivot Works/Hotcams backed Bryan Hulsey kicked three times to fire his
Spider Graphics/Quad-Tech sponsored bike to enter the woods last for what was going to be a
long afternoon. As the two hour event went on, the Duncan Racing/Maxima Oils backed Hulsey
never let up and was able to show the competition the meaning of perseverance, and brought
home second place by passing all but one of the competitors in the inaugural series round one.

Team Epic Racings John Pitts Brings home the Top Honors at WFO Series race in
John Pitts decided to try out some races in surrounding areas to introduce Team Epic Racing
and their sponsors to riders that haven’t met them before. At the start of the WFO Series
Plainview, Illinois round, Kal-Guard/Barnett sponsored John Pitts entered the woods in second,
content to just follow for a couple of laps to lean the new circuit. A brief setback on lap one
meant he needed to mount a harder than anticipated charge to get himself back to the front of
the pack and eventually take over the lead with only 15 minutes remaining in the event.
John also tried a new adventure and rode his first Motorcycle XC event at Plainview, Illinois and
won the M/C C class and the Morning Overall. Next time he will probably move to the M/C B
Class to see if he can hang with the faster riders on 2-Wheels.
